what is your view of scooter libby? scapegoat? guilty?

Scooter Libby was found guilty... but of what? Purgery? Who is he protecting? Why would he lie? In my view.. Scooter Libby is a scapegoat.. the fall guy if you would. Yes he lied... yes he is guilty... and yes he deserves to go to jail. But why is the vice- president and president so hard to bring to justice? Do these men take oaths to protect him no matter what??
