friends in LOVE?!!!

have you been in love with your best friend? i fell in love with a close friend once but didn't get the guts to tell him or give him any hint. i felt it could ruin our friendship and i didn't think going into a more intimate relationship with my best pal wouldn't be worth the risk because i valued our friendship more. do you think friends in love make any sense?

I have a male bestfriend but before we became bestfriends, we were couples for 11 months. That was still when we were in our freshman years in highschool. Still too young back then so we just considered it a puppy love. The moment I fell in love for him was when I was on my way in college. WE had a mutual understanding with each other but we both decided not to indulge ourselves to any "more-than-friends" commitment. That was kinda hurting though. But we both managed our feelings. And currently, we both are into different relationships. He's happy with his girl and I'm happy with my man too. :)

I was never in love with my best friend. But many people do say that it can break up a very good friendship if the relationship doesn't work out, not only have you lost your lover but you lost your best friend too.
