From the time you read this to the time you die, you should always make better choices regarding your medical care.
#1 - Always keep copies of your medical records, it may cost a little, but you'll be glad you did.
#2 - Always LOOK at your medical records to be sure they are accurate - if you have questions about accuracy on your medical records, talk to your doctor or their nurse.
#3 - Always keep information on doctors you have seen.
Now for the explanation as to why these things are important:
Because of the shortage of nurses in this country and many others, substandard care has replaced once stellar care.
The old motto for nurses and their documentation of medical records used to be,"It's gotta look good enough to go to court." - The motto now is, "Get 'em in, get 'em out!"
You simply MUST be proactive about your healthcare, anytime there's a surge of employees in an industry, the level of care and customer service plummets, this is no accident! In an effort to staff hospitals and doctors' offices, true credentials and skill are often overlooked so that there will be another warm body in the office to see patients'.
Have you noticed a decline in the care you're receiving?

This is great advice and I have done this for years. You have to keep on top of your medical care just like you do your bills. Thanks for sharing this info with otheres. I hope they will take it to heart and do some of it themselves.
