Global warming is the most talked about topics today. Many countries are taking initiatives to reduce green house gas emissions, but these efforts could be too late as the damage could have already been done... The effect according to the theory is the drastic change in weather patterns.
Do you all support this theory? do u think these changes are the direct effect of global warming?

I saw An Inconvenient Truth and it sealed the deal for me. The temps are going up and up, and it doesn't matter one bit if we caused it or if we're only partly to blame. We obviously aren't helping.
Of course, we could probably kill two birds with one stone if we just legalized hemp. Can you imagine the CO2 sucking power of a billion hemp plants across the country?

Higher temperatures threaten dangerous consequences: drought, disease, floods, lost ecosystems. And from sweltering heat to rising seas, global warming's effects have already begun. We know where most heat-trapping gases come from: power plants and vehicles. It is a pressing issue of the modern wolrd.I don't totally dismiss the theory of global warming. but i had heard from one of mylot users on a similar discussion that its something to do with the pre-detremined fate of earth and its not 100% human-made.

My family and I just watch "An inconvenient truth" with Al Gore. To our surprise it was actually convincing. Within our house we are taking the "green" steps that are possible for us. Of course our country seems to care more about making money than the environment. we pray something drastic happens with that soon!!

Well it is hard to say that it is not as I had no snow green grass for the first time this year in Canada. So all bets are off, but at this time in early March and late February were terrible dangerous wind chills and minus degrees. It is literally brutal out there.
So anything we can do can't hurt our planet, so I am all for trying to get rid of things that are doing this to the Earth.
I hate how years ago I was pro-green and no one would listen and now everyone is like this is the biggest issue. Duh!
