We just watched the film "An Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore. The film breaks down all the details regarding global warming. It shows all the proof of the damage that has been done and the causes. There is a web site that offers suggestions on ways we can help our environment www.climatecrisis.net
If you're not sure what all the hype is about with the global warming than you will want to check this film out!

i just watched it today on dvd. the facts and stats are staggering! i can't believe other politicians are refuting the evidence that there is global warming when the science behind it is there. i also checked out the website and it offers helpful tips on 'going green.' i hope everyone can get to see the film. whether or not one believes in climate change, we still have a responsibility to take care of the Earth we live in.

I think that man's activities contribute to global warming but the earth also goes through its own climactic cycles. If this was a million years ago, I would be sitting in the middle of a rain forest instead of wondering when the next snow will hit.
I think most of our problems will get critical when the sea level rises enough that people have to start migrating. Thepeople who have tried discourage the use of birthcontrol are going to be wishing they hadn't when millions of people start trying to squeeze into half the land space that will be left!

I like this film though it's not that very informative or rather slow like other say. After watching this film I got see the documentary done by National Geographic THE REPORT where they tackle almost all the info Al Gore give with much elaborateness and they tackle most of the problems not just as a whole world but by country. This two documentary open me up much deeper to how our mother Earth was doing or its present state. What is sad about this is that not many people were affected by this issue and always have this thinking "why should be taking any action where others don't".
I think we still need more this kind of documentaries and discuss the issue more specific so that the issue will sink in to people who don't get the whole picture.

I just finished watching the first half of this film and while I found some of it to be slow moving it was also very interesting. I think more people should watch it as it will serve as a reminder that we should be doing more recycling. You can watch the movie for free at the this site:
