Thankfully I now have a stress free life. It wasn't always so while my children were growing up but I had a schedule and if I stuck with it, I was ok. I would always get up very early in the mornings so that I could get things organised for the day ahead. I would also try to do as much as possible at night before bedtime. I don't really let stress get to me and I can be very laid back about everything. The best thing to do is not to worry uneccessarily. This only causes more stress.

First, I try to prioritize my day, that is to determine what are most and least important, and everything in between. Then I try to set a timeline... When does task A need to be done, then Task B, etc.
I try to give each task the energy it needs, and do it to the best of my ability. However, I resist the urge to try for perfection every time out. That's usually not attainable and just adds more pressure.
Most importantly, make sure that you are taking care of yourself! Leave time for a breather and a healthy snack along the way and you'll be much better prepared for whatever comes along.

See, Pressure comes when you are in trouble, it's the way how you handle your pressure. A pressure that what I need a achievement to creat a right goal that is only a pressure for me I don't think what others want.... Let's take it easy and just ruin it.

I used to have a lot of pressure in my life, but not so much anymore. I just decided one day I had had enough. When I was working I used to prioritise what had to done urgently. I also found that taking a few deep breaths every now and again helped. I still do deep breathing exercises. I find them very relaxing.

I do not have much pressure in my life. The way I relieve stress is by walking, riding my bike and reading. For me this type of activities help.

Yes, lately there is much pressure and stress in my life. And by lately I mean the last 10 years or so, which is not the best thing to happen for such a long period of time. The way I deal with it depends on where the source for the stress and pressure is. If it's at work, for example, I really made it a rule never to bring work problems or worries home. But when it's at home it's a bit more complicated. Sometimes reading, writing or drawing helps a bit, because when I do any of those things I really forget everything outside what I"m doing.
WHen there's too much pressure I tend to try and do things that relax me and make me feel positive, either alone or with my family. NOne of these things work all the time, but they do work most of the time.
The main thing is to really realize what's causing the pressure and find ways to counteract. In my opinion anything that takes the problem away from our mind even if just for a little bit, it already a bonus. I also ten to do relaxation exercises, and find they do help quite a lot.

As a stay-at-home mom with two little girls, I have to keep moving around the house doing ten things at a time. Its like I have to keep on catching with a lot of things. I try to avoid putting those dreaded pressures in my life though. I will simply holler a friend, have a cup of coffee and vent out all the pressures away. I also find going shopping by myself a good therapy. I know...I will be a few dollars short after shopping. But hey, its worth it anyway. :)

life is so fast these days....everyone is competing hard to get ahead of others...pressure in such a situation is inevitable...i think the best way to counter pressure is to take one thing at a time...moreover,compete with your former self and not with others....and above all don't take life too seriously......

You have to learn to take each day with a grain of salt. "One day at a Time" each day is a learning experience with something new to learn. With each day you can also teach other to do the same by embracing who you are as yourself. There's no place like home, is a motto which has a meaning that relates to being on both sides of the fence. Thank you for your discussion, just think..... "Home is where the heart is"!

My life is far from stress free, but I look at it this way, at least I am alive. lol
There are times that the pressure gets to me and I have to have a cry-fest and get it out of me. Then I lace up my boots and get back to work trying to figure out solutions to my problems, which are mainly finances right now. But, I have faith that I will find the right opportunity.
The biggest stress in my life is something I can do absolutely nothing about. My husband will deploy to Iraq and I will worry. I have to deal, there is no other choice. So, I keep busy, talk to my support system alot and wait for my phone to ring and hear his voice on the other end.
