My mother and I are both too proud and stubborn (in other words - childish lol) Neither of us ever wants to give in and the phrase "cutting off your nose to spite your face" really applies to us :)
We never got on when we lived together and it was probably because we are alike, in fact, I've noticed I've been becoming more like her as I get older :/ although it's only her bad points that I seem to be picking up!

I have to admit, I did giggle at this topic as my mum and I are both incredibly stubborn, neither of us will give an inch in an argument, yet I always seem to cave in for a quiet life.

no kidding! my mom will still swear up and down she right even if you pull up the facts and everything, so i do eventually just say "okay mom whatever" but i still love her stubborn butt.

One trait that my mother and I both have in common is the inablility to say no. We both often do to much for others and don't think about ourselves. Although it is a good trait it is also bad because sometimes you can get into situations where you are taken advantage of.
