Is marijuana deadly?

I asked a question a little while ago about marijuana should it be legal or shouldn't it. Most people felt that it should be legal.
But one thing I did not hear much about was the side effects or physical problems.
Does marijuana have dangerous side effects or can it be deadly? Can marijuana be dangerous?

it isn't deadly
trying it a few times is totally safe
smoking it every day for 50 years will really mess you up though
