Did you know you don't get paid for those posts and that anyone who responds doesn't get paid either? I come to the "make extra money" category looking for ideas and good discussion, but seems like most of what I find here is one person after another just looking for referrals. It's getting to be a real headache.
I think we can share a referral, but you aren't allowed to start a discussion with one. So for instance if someone was asking about a program you are a member of, the way I understand it you could share the referral link, maybe even in a PM. You can also share websites and blog addresses. Maybe you should all start a free blog and list all your referral programs there, then add the blog to your profile??? Just an idea.
Thanks for listening to me. I already feel better!

that sounds good like a website blog or something that way everyone know what they are reading about before they read it.

Where did you get that from!? I would like to see where in the TOS or FAQ it's written that you don't get paid if you post a ref-link!? :-D How would the system even check that??

Awhile back they sent something to our messaging system about not posting referral urls in discussion starters... unless my brain has gone soft. I remember reading this here and then finding several other discussions relating to this issue. I remember reading that the discussions weren't cool with mylot and they wouldn't pay for them.
I have shared links to my blogs here several times and a few times before I knew of this rule. Since I'm not real clear if we can share a blog or website address in a discussion starter I now usually don't post it until a discussion gets going and then I might share my blog if it's relevant to that discussion... still this is different as a blog isn't the same as pushing a referral url on people.

I'd like that..I came here to find good discussions on pros and cons and what kind of website to use, but I find everyone posting their referral link to get money for themselves instead of helping.
