Has anyone noticed how here in corporate America so many corporations are outsourcing work? At my Company, we have cut 50,000 jobs since 09/11. Many of those jobs have been outsourced and we continue to outsource today.
If we can find a company to provide a service for 50 cents less than our own employees, we'll outsource it, and we don't mind a bit if the service provided by the outsourcing company is poor.
So, I am thinking of starting my own company called Outsource Senior Management. I think the trend should be to outsource the higher paid jobs that senior management hold. I'm sure I could provide CEOs and Vice Presidents for $200,000 per year that perform just as well as those earning $1 million per year or more. Think of all the money companies could save without paying those huge undeserving salaries. We could probably save hundreds of lower paying jobs as well and still save companies money.
I would also like to provide Boards of Directors. Why not? What really does the Board do except figure out ways to make themselves rich. I'm sure I could provide an effective Board of Directors especially for poor performing companies.
So, what are your thoughts? Think this idea is a go?
