As long as I lived, I've always set my clock forward one hour or back one hour....But, seems that one county in particular plan to spring forward two hours... This county got permission from the US Department of Transportation to move from Central time to Eastern time... There was confusion due to surrounding counties were on eastern time...Imagine going a few miles and instantly in another time zone? That's what this county was dealing with on a daily...Go a half mile up the road and instead of say 10:15 it's 11:15..lol That obviously happened to alot of people in this county... Here is the full story? http://www.centredaily.com/128/story/36095.html What do you think, think you would get confused going from one county to the next with different time zones? What moving your clock two hours ahead, think you could handle that?

Oh thanks for reminding me. Ours only spring forward 1 hour but I would have completely forgotten if I hadn't seen your post. I hate losing an hour of sleep or an hour of my weekend but oh well what can you do. At least the evenings will stay lighter later so the kids will be able to get outside and play.

i think it would be hard at first, but I can understand why they want to do it. I grew up in Elkhart County in Indiana. When I was a kid and even into my late twenties, we didn't change time. We stayed the same year round. I loved it. Michigan and Chicago were on different time zones so when the time changed we got to watch tv shows that were normally after our bedtime. It was hard on me when I moved to Texas and had to start observing the time changes. My parents have since moved back to Northern Indiana and found that now they observe the time change too.

Yes, I have family in Ft. Wayne Indiana and their time never changed either....I can imagine how hard it was. I was in Vegas for a week and going back three hours was a little difficult at first..

That would really be awkward going from one county to another county and be in different time zones. I would be totally confused and lost no doubt about it. I can see going from one state to another but not county to county. That does not make much sense to me. I definitely would not be able to handle moving time up two hours. Losing two hours of sleep would be horrible. :-)

lol....Oh my I know the feeling..I would be miserable if I lost 2 hours, but I guess it's either loose tow hours of sleep or stay confused with the next county over time..lol

That would DEFINITELY be weird but it's no werider than when I was growing up.....I had a best friend who lived right next door to me but we weren't allowed to call each on the phone because it was long distance!Isn't that just too funny?

Nah,I won't like to handle that.In our country we don't have to deal with this ,but when I was abroad I loved the part when the clock had to be readjusted back by an hour.I could sleep one hour extra during chilled winter days.I hated the daylight saving time though.I used to forget the date and my friends would wake me up early and I would be cursing the day ,lol. But, it could be confusing in your case when it's different time zones for different countys and you are never too sure.
