Time for a little whining & venting. HAHAHA! I just had to delete a friend from my list. The reasons are kind of funny to me actually. This person usually posts about 15 to 30 times when they log on. Plus the discussions are usually along thre loines of, "do you like this" "are you okay with this" They are all one liner boring topics most the time. I added this person as they did have good discussions at first. Now this person is whining about needing money badly. Now the funny thing I went through many discussions they had started. Not one comment did I see them make to responses. Nor a response to any of mine. So therefore this individual was deleted after many long thought out hours of deciding. I am sorry that I did this especially due to the fact they won't make very much along the lines they're going about myLot in general. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this person is wrong all I'm saying is that I find it funny they need money yet don't know how to do it right on myLot. Thanks for allowing me to vent & whine. HAHAHAHA. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

well it's your list of friend. If you want to delete someone from there then do so. To be honest I don't think I see half of my friends' postings here. I think less than 25% post discussions so I get to answer if it's interesting. Sure if I find anyone does what you describe your ex friend did, I would do the same.

I wonder if I have the same friend as you have, or had as the case may be. I haven't yet deleted them but I am getting very close to it. I delete all the emails telling me that they have posted a topic because there is nothing there for me discuss or respond to. It is usually just a couple of words with a link to something that I am not interested.

I don't think it's the same person. But I have seen this individual on a couple of my friends list as well. Not saying whom. LOL But I just got in the period of 25 minutes 15 or more emails of this person starting new discussions. HAHAHA! Thanks also for the response. I wish this person good luck though trying to earn cash here. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

LOL I just hovered over your star. Let me first say GRATS! This is the first 100/100 I've seen actually. You must be doing absolutley great. Or you're part owner of myLot. LOL Just joking. Grats again on the "PERFECT" rating. I wish I could get there but I'm not going to worry about it.

Hello grandpa, mylot is open for everyone to vent and whine, so go ahead. I recently deleted some of the friends on my list too. These are either the one who's been inactive for a month now or just didn't know what it means to have virtual friends and to help out with our discussions. I wasn't able to post discussion lately. My mind isn't working properly like there's no ideas that I feel like to share. I hope in a few days, I will be able to start posting again. Happy posting, grandpa.

Thanks again for your response. I just have things pop into my head or things that happen while just sitting around that give me my ideas for a discussion. Like sitting watching Wrestling a little while ago I was eating & I got an idea for a strange yet interesting fun topic I feel. I have to think more if I want to try & start it later. You'll know. HAHAHA.

i think u did the right thing. a lot of people start discussions whihc others doi not like and even i might be doing so. i mean there must be a lot of my discussions which others dont like but its a personal choice. whats bad is that this guy is actually asking u that he needs money, god here are so many other ways of earning, and mylot pays so less. u have to work to earn, not blog, i mena if u really need money so bad. mylot is more for fun:)

How bout it. The guy complains about needing money but yet thinks he's gonna make a fortune on mylot. lol That's just so funny. I've been here 4 wks now and only made $3.19. Wow!!! I'm richhhhhh!!! lmao Anyways, he's not a friend if he's starting nonsense discussions like you say. I've seen some like that and won't even read them.

Well, I certainly don't expect to make a boat-load of dough here. I haven't even made it up to $1.00 yet! LOL But, that's okay. When I joined MyLot (very recently) it looked like loads of fun; it still does! I do find it overwhelming to answer everyone though. If it's something I just can't make a decent contribution to, then I won't bother wasting my time, nor the poster's. It has also just occurred to me that I haven't posted a response to every response on my discussions. Do I need to do that? Is it proper protocol? I dont' want to dis anybody!

The thing is it's a 20 year old expecting to make money to help support a child. I can't see making enough in a month here for even the diapers needed. NAyhow that's this persons choice. LOL. As far as your responding/commenting on responses, I say it's your myLot do with it as you may. I'm not offended by friends not responding. If it happens all the time that's another story. HAHAHA. So it's your choice. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

Oh yes I have one of my friends that I shall be deleting tomorrow as I hate this when they put around this amount of discussions and only give 1-3 lines of rubbish there and I cannot respond to them. I do believe that they must know how to discuss and respond to others as they see so many others doing it the right way and so why can't they think to themselves how come I am not making more money that other members are quoting that they earn.

I happen to agree with you.I think there are a lot of my lotters who just post, want other people to respnd to their discussions, but don't make an effort to respond to yours. If they thought about this seriously, they would be better off if they DID respond to their friends discussions, or at least a few, as then he/she would be more likely to receive responses from friends. If that makes sense...

I try my best to post discussions are neither too long, boring,or not of interest. I don't think I've made a post that was very short actually. Anyhow thanks for the kind words and as always......... I don't like to delete friends, although I can totally understand the reasoning. I actually have about 7 of those now that do this and I turned the notify off since that's where I answer discussions is through my email. Now I don't get their discussions and on the rare occasion that I try to use the link for discussions my friends started I skip right over the top of them. If they want to delete me that's fine, I just feel bad when I delete someone. Although in the beginning I did delete one for posting offensive discussions. At least that's how I saw them. I may change my mind soon, though. My friends list is getting up their and I want to stay loyal to the ones that got me to where I am. I have added many new friends (you included) that I enjoy the posts, so I may need to make room soon by deleting those that I never respond to for one reason or other. :)

Well, it depends upon how much quality one can produce using the forum. I do mistake while starting a topic and sometimes I feel myself guilty when I find same has already been posted by another mylotter. What I feel about myself is to improve my vision about the things being happend arround me. You are right that some times the discussions are just starting that would result in some reply "Yes / No" This is not called sort of discussion rather a "Poll". Isn't it? What I feel about you again would like to add is you have matured perceptions of the things while discussions and while responding you are to the point. I personally don't want money being earned but some help to improve my conversation skill, frankly. It would be great of you if let me in yours friends list forever (LoL). Thanks Grandpa Bob

The above mentioned person doesnt respond or comment on their discussions or mine. So that's that. HAHAHA. Polss are useless unless they are working for a pollster thriough myLot. HAHA. If it was money he wanted so badly, he would do better on mylot instead of alienating his/her friends on here. Friendship works both ways don't it? You say you deleted a friend today, I don't think he was your friend Bob.

I had someone like that. I would go to discussions my friends stared and it would be flooded with this one persons so called discussions but there would not be much to discuss. I finely had to delete them. All they wanted to do was start discussions. I know that the discussions I have started are not very interesting but gheese.

I know that this has been said before (from reading the other replies) but if someone needs money, then Mylot will obviously only pay them pocket change. I can't say I would stick around if MYLOT didn't pay a cent, but I can also say that I wouldn't be here if I didn't enjoy it either. People that are here for the money only usually end up doing what your "ex" friend did, or just leaving the site entirely. On that note, I 100% do not blame you for deleting the person ( and especially if you have your alerts on!).

I know how you feel. I don't like deleting anyone either, but if they are not helping me by giving me something to respond to or not contributing to my discussions then they need to go. I run into a LOT of people offline who mona and groan about needing money. I show them what I do and they love the idea, but they have every excuse not to work for the money. I have several streams of income and work them all very hard. I also work away from home for 40 hours. I make an additional $600.00 a month from all my online stuff and everyone wants a piece of the pie but they do not have the patience or the want to actually make it happen.

I recently deleted a friend .. but for very much the same reasons .. allmthe ever posted is what I call 'lightweight' stuff .. just enough to get an earnings from the discussions but no more .. and it was all recipes, poems, one liners too .. not that I think they are wrong things to post .. but it was always the kind of stuff there was no easy way to reply to .. I mean what can you say other .. 'tasy recipe' .. 'nice poem' 'I agree' .. to my mind continually posting this kind of discussion adds nothing more than nuisance value to MyLot .. and I too got fed up with constantly having to delete the notifications of dicsussions that were practically impossible to reply to .. Of course under the new MyLot rules they'll carry on geting earnings for every flippin' discussion they post whether or not anyone bothers to reply PAH!!

A network's only as good as they give back I guess. I make an effort to read what other people write, and to reply to those topics that do interest me. If I had someone on my network whose topics I didn't really appreciate, nor are they interested in mine, then that's not a healthy 'relationship' here on myLot.
