why do Drivers Speed?

I used to like driving a lot, but now a days I just go to work and back home because other drivers go so fast, and cut you off, and they think they own the road, people have no patients
theses days.

I think the reason they speed is they have no considerations for others on the road..no one but themselves and number one..themselves

Guess that just comes with a more and more stressful and hectic every day life.
