What keeps you motivated to continue living?I an a 43 year old married man, unemployed (just started technical school), and currently unable to work due to medical problems and constant pain. If it wasn't for the fact that I have to be here for our 10 year old daughter, I would probably be in a gutter, drunk off my butt waiting for the end.
What keeps you cheerful and motivated to go on every day? I have a hard enough time getting out of bed to face another day.

The fact that you started technical school and your need to look after a 10 year old daughter are already good signs that you have a strong motivation to live. Even people without physical problems need a lot of motivation too having to face a monotonous day to day existence. Sadly, I don't find myself cheerful and motivated everyday of the week but to face life is something I need to do and I am left with no other options. From time to time I set certain short term goals like reaching 30 posts a day, simple as they are, they keep my day worthwhile. There are also some other goals which I aim to achieve and they keep me motivated.

My sons motivate me the most, I want to instill postive morales and values, so that they will grow up to be the best they can be.
