And they are causing great pain. Does anyone have any advice on how to ease the pain? Plus, how much does it really hurt when you get them pulled?

Mine actually didn't start bothering me until around 2 weeks before they were scheduled to be removed. Also, I have great teeth, so my experiences may not be reflective of what you want to hear. That having been said, it took me longer to recover from the anesthetic than it did the surgery itself. One of my teeth actually had felt better that evening and the other the next afternoon. I was pain-free within 36 hours. It's certainly worth getting them removed, you don't want them growing into your nerves, sinuses or pushing out your other teeth.

Most dentists are aware of this fear of dentists and try to help you get over it I would think.
