So the new episode of south park was contreversial enough to make its way on CNN. They because of the eccessive use of the word ni@@er. I love south park and didn't find any offense to the episode even though I am black. I thought it was pretty funny.South park talks about everyone equally. Anyone saw this episode? wat u think?

My family and I watched this episode together (and yes we are all of age)I can see how it could have offended people but those of us who chose to watch this show know that Matt and Trey are interested in one thing when they right each episode, How to push the envelope. They make fun of anyone and everyone they can and do at times say very racist or offensive remarks, but those that are complaining about this piticular show need to realize that it is not just the black race that they "attack". And if the show truly bothers someone they need to know that you can change the channel on your tv or turn it off. One button it's all it takes.

yeah.. she's right! it's southpark guys .. it's not the most controversial thing they've done! I really find the episode funny.. Specially when cartman's being hysterical with that little man lol. It was a good start for season 11..

I fell asleep! Both nights. My bed time is 8 and sometimes I just can't stay awake that late. I did see about the first half of the episode and felt they were taking the use of the word to extremes. But that is their trademark. They don't discriminate, they hate everyone equally.
I'm glad you could see past the use of the word and see the humor.

OMG, I didn't know people were making a huge deal about it. It's South Park, they are ALWAYS controversial. That's why they've made it so many years. They aren't afraid, and people shouldn't be offended. They don't walk on eggshells for anyone, and if you are comfortable within yourself, you should be able (like you) to laugh along with it and see it's not being mean, just a different type of comedy.

I watched it Wednesday night and I loved it. I'm sure that many people were offended by it, but I think that a lot of people just see it as a bunch of crude jokes, nothing more. If any of these people bothered to pay attention to what was actually going on in each episode they would realize what amazing social commentary the show has. I think that the latest episode did a very good job handling the situation they presented.

I think it's a bit offensive for some people, but that's just because of Cartman. I still like it. I just watch every episode on CNN(and I'm Dutch) without subtitles.

I haven't seen that one yet. I don't like that word anymore than most people, but on South Park, I hardly think it can be taken seriously. If people are taking Southpark seriously, they have no lives!! It's just a funny show, and that's all. They make fun of EVERYONE equally. If they ever do a show about Danish Canadians, let me know. LOL

I thought this episode was fantastic, and a good start to the season. People should just realise that by making a big deal out of it, there probably making more people feel offended. South park is controversial, thats just how it is and if you don't like it then don't watch it!
