I am new to this Linux world. Could you suggest me a torrent client and a download manager for Red hat Linux. Please refer me a book or an online community to learn more...

Azureus is a good bit torrent client.
However I use MLDonkey, but it's not only a bit torrent client.
MLDonkey is a P2P software that support many networks like eDonkey, Gnutella, Gnutella2, FastTrack, it also can download file from FTP and bit torrent.
So I use this software to download quite everything.

Azureus (azureus.sourceforge.net/) is one of the best torrent client with many advanced features, but personally I don't prefer since it is based on java and java application tend to be slow in most of the system. I prefer Ktorrent (http://ktorrent.org/) which comes with opensuse DVD. I hope you maybe able to find an rpm for red hat too from some site (redhat don't have ktorrent in their CD/DVD). Ktorrent is a KDE based application and is very easy to use with some cool features.

Hi!
Check this one: mtorrent
http://www.utorrent.com/
It's free, very light and it uses few resources.
Tell me what you think.
