All "good" things must come to an end.(sob sob... i haven't got my 10$..)
Thank you to all my friends, and those I had the honor of knowing through their posts.
You guys have been great teachers to me, my original intention here was to make some money and move on.
What I didn't count on was the amount of learning I am able to pull off here.
As a psychology student, you folks provided me with so much insights of how people work.
You guys rock, continue rocking!
And to those I might have offended, I apologize, it wasn't my intention to do so.
For my friends: I will be checking myLot every now and then for one month before leaving it altogether.

wow wow wow, luckily I come accross your discussion in time, if not I won't even know you are leaving :p Well, I think, a great investor like you, mylot is not a place for you to hang around too often, indeed. But, for me, it's a place to make friends and read interesting discussion. I know there are tons of forums out there, which is compatible to mylot in terms of knowledge sharing and having equal level of entertainment, but the best part is, mylot is paying :) What I mean is, if you are just in here for fun (just log in once a while), why not in a forum which pays you. But, unfortunately, paying forums attract spammers too! And sometimes it's disgusting to read that. But I think mylot keeps on improving and less spammers are seen nowadays.
It's all up to you buddy, and I will wish you all the best and good luck in your subsequent quest in life!

Btw, mylot is really a good place. My mother is one of the active members. I am glad that she like mylot very much, as one of the meaningful passtime after her retirement :)

I think psychology is really interesting if you ever wanna discuss socialpsychology
(more in the social interactions context) :P I think I know some stuff :P

Sorry to have confused you, I am leaving not because of the 10 dollars. I am leaving as I am done with myLot, I spend too much time digging through a lot of "discussions" that doesn't really interest me, not to count the spams... and the liars. There are a handful of outstanding members with excellent posts. Just too much time to find and for some too much firepower involved.
Can't really have a decent discussion without fear of being flamed. I did however learn a lot from the community, frankly it scares the sh*t out of me the direction it is going. Free speech without social responsibility is dangerous.
May fortune and good luck follow you around.

Well your idea and reason definitely makes sense. Before you leave though, had you slected your own topics of interest and searched through those to keep you active? It is often times much easier than fishing through the discussions as a whole, with anything under the sun popping up in fron of you. I think we all know that too well-the discussions we find useless. Just as a hint to maybe get you to stay. If not, maybe Mylot just isn't for you. And it is good of you to realize that now before you waste too much time here :)

I am merely a student, I have few great mentors to help me out in my learning. Making the curve easier to grasp.
I tried to initiate some kind of FX discussions, especially with regards to trades. It seems that the it would take too long to get a response.
