i do actually like that too. i like commenting on responses too because sometimes i need more help and i like to ask for help and i get interested on what the response i commented responded and i like to ask questions about what he/she is discussing about since it is interesting. i also like to keep on discussions going. i also like it when people comment to my responses because then ill know that people understood my response and ask me questions in little details. i also get happy when whatever i response is really interesting to them, cause then ill know i usually make interesting responses.

I do like that. I try as much as possible to reply to comments on my own threads too, since it's sort of hypocritical to expect something without doing it in return, if you get my gist.

You knOW me. I try my darndest to return to a lot of past discussions I responded to. I love seeing all the comMents made also. It's really heart felt most times. Today for example on one of your discussions was a great example of people connecting in strange ways here. I have begun to feel a true connection to a few of mylotters on my list. Yeah i know what you mean, it starts becoming a conversation when the responses are two way, i always comment on all the responses i get and sometimes even comment on people who've commented on my responses, it just makes the topic more lively and gives it a certain quality, and that is exactly what qualifies it as a discussion instead of just one-way traffic, it also shows that the person who started the topic was actually interested in discussing that topic, instead of just using it as a way of making money.

It feels good every time people replies to my discussions. I feel that my topic is interesting when someone replies to my discussion.

the feeling is mutual. when we find people commenting on our discussion it gives us the feeling that we are in the right track and we are communicationg well. the good thing about it is that our message are crossing around the world wide web.

I think you are right, it make me smile when I found that some one responed to my topic.Did you what I think? I think that I or you wrote somthing worth it, to make people read it, even love it or read it twice. What should we do to be good writers? the answer: Just write what ever in you mind with pasion and for one thing: (to be loved for the word that you are)

I feel the same way you do. It just makes the discussion more real less automatic. I sometimes comment on other myloters responses, and when I do it it's exactly for the reason you mentioned: I am interested in discussing the topic further.

marian, you have hit the target with this discussion header. i am just a newbie to this site and am trying to learn the nuances and ethos of this place. to a discussion that i started, i did receive only two responses as on today. but i will not give up. just changed my strategy in rather than starting any new discussion, i am going around giving responses to others discussions. keep smiling, keep discussing mike the lil smiley cute devil

same here.. i also feel much happiness when someone responds on my discussions.. it made me think i had an interesting topic for discussion.

if many response in my discussion, i felt very happy because it's means my discussion is very interesting to brought to discuss. i always response for other discussion too.

i feel happy even if its just a response, even if i just get 1. but its different when there is a comment. id be even happier. so i rate all the people that responds and comments on my posts.

Yes I love to see responses to my discussions not just when someone is feeling me and agreeing with what I am saying. I love it when people have differing opinions too, I like it when what I say makes someone stop and think for a minute. I also love it when the same happens in reverse and I am the one who must stop and think. I love the my lot format because if you get a lot of responses to a specific discussion you can really get a consensus on it by having the same discussion with numerous people from numerous places around the world and around the block.

Of course it would be a matter of joy and happiness if one get response to his/her discussions or threads.

I am the same way. It's always fun to see what other people have to say about your comments. It is nice being able to have an actual conversation with others.

i really like it if someone comments back to my reply. like u said it shows that we r having a real discussion and not doing a Q and A like on yahoo answers. i always try to comment to the people who respod to my posts, i think one deserves a comment when he gives his time to respond(i don't mean like "thank u for ur response" it's quite rude in my opinion!).

i too feel the same way... escpecially if i get diff opinions on the discussions i have created...you know, when some people would even challenge you on your opinion...hehehe...i like that...
