Will you eat that chicken if its been slauter in front of you???

My solution to this problem, which I also have! is to do several chickens at once, clean them and let them go through rigor mortis, after that when they are relaxed again, bag them up and put them in the freezer, when I go to grab a chicken I no longer know who I am eating! it also helps to get all the same kind of chicken for your meat birds (like the all white cornish crosses) because they are less individual, do not make pets out of them - know from day 1 that they are being raised to feed you. you raise them and give them a good life and in the end they will give you good meat.
