In Indonesia, the goverment has decided that pass the UAN is the one and only criteria that needed by the student in Indonesia (High School, Junior and Elementari School)for graduate. Many student in Indonesia fault to pass the UAN. Some of them are brilliant student who have been accepted by top university in Indonesia or got scholarship to study in Germany etc.
its not fair to use UAN as the one and only requirement for graduate. The student have work hard for 3 years, and the f*** final exam such UAN can easily break their dream!

The problem is that there's no second chance. If a person doesn't pass the UAN then what?
They're screwed that's what. There should be some sort of second chance, or at the least let them take it again the next year and the next year and the next year until they pass.

Ahh... that's OUR country. If you wanna change it let's make a move together. Anyway, I agree with you. Nowadays, students only focus on "passing" the UAN, not to study. So, I wonder how Indonesia's future, especially in education, is going... Oh, boy...! ( -_- )
