Which anti virus are you using and why?

Good to hear from you! Currently, I am using Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. I have been using this software for over a longer period of time. Since using this one, I have never had any problems at all with regards to the system performance of my machine. It updates regularly and can be scheduled at your most convenient time. It is very light on resources and does not eat a lot of memory. Hence, does not slow down your computer. It detects and deletes rootkits, worms, and viruses. Otherwise, I am quite satisfied with its performance. Have a nice day and God speed!

i am using nod32 now,i feel it common.my computer works slowly after using it,and today the computer is down suddenly.i think i should change one,perhaps MCAfee is a good choice.

years before i have tried many anti-viruses but i used norton the most but it slowed down my pc but as i have 2gb ram it does not affect much but few moths ago i was attacked by a number of viruses and malware nearly about 200 of them but norton only detected a few of them the i asked this question to help somebody stated me kaspersky and trust me it worked fine itremoved all the viruses and malware then later a friend of mine told me to use zonealarm i tried that that's also a very fine antiviruses and anti spyware so now i use either of two and enjoy a virus free activities

I already used norton, avg, macaffee, and pccillin. But now I'm more satisfied with my nod32. I you want a better or reliable antivirus try searching the internet on top anti virus software available, so that you can't go wrong on choosing on what suits your needs.

I am using Pc-cillin Internet security 2007.I use it as stress the system less than norton and all most common features to protect a pc when it is online.

Currently i am using McAfee antivirus with Spamkiller since i have installed windowsXp on my system so when i had windows installation the seller adviced me to chose McAfee ....the reason he gave me that it will not effect much on your pc speed as compare to norton and others ..so i said okey ....... so i am pretty much satisfied with Mcafee antivirus now ...........

i use mcafee it's free and not slowing down your pc unlike norton :s

norton antivirus becuz it was preinstalled in my notebook
