i have found myself on long queues many times.sometimes you really might be in so much of a hurry and you would want to "shunt" that is, 'jump the queue'.
the big questions here are:
1. is it right to shunt?
2.why do people shunt?
3.what can we do to stop people from shunting?
if you do shunt could you please give us some reasons why you do so.you also can express your views about shunting.

I don't think it's right. No matter how in a hurry I am, I will still keep to the queue. I might curse and swear but I don't believe I have more of a right to jump queue than anyone else.
If people jump, it would depend on my mood and how old that person is. I may just close an eye, or shoo him back.

it is only right and proper that we keep our place in the line. in fact, for us abled and still strong enough, we should be the ones who will be willing to give way for those who have some disabilities and difficulties. instead of being selfish, we should be selfless. i agree with you, lordwarwizard, we must keep to the queue.

it will never be proper to jump the queue. as for those whom you see do it, correct them. each one of us much learn to respect the right of others for their bidded time. just think, if it were you unto whom this act is done, will you find it okey? you will surely feel disrespected and angered. let us always take how others will feel whenever we wrong them. this way, we will make this world a more place to live in.
