How do you like your computer desktop - full of icons or hardly any icons?

I like it with a lot of icons. I mostly put a wallpaper which lets me adjust all the icons around it. It takes time but then it makes my computer look really pretty. I have friends who dont like anything on the desktop other than the wallpaper. Show do you like it?

Icons..... hmmm.... it doenot matter so much to me..... but anyways i like many of them to be around alligned in a good manner..... i dont like it to be here and there... bcos it doesnt look good..... for example, if you books or clothes are here and there , do you like them??? no na.... same way i treat the icons in my computer....

when i feel that there is a lot of icons on my desktop then i make a new folder and set the date as name of folder then i transfer all the older icons to it.

i like only necessary icons on my computer desktop like my coputer internet explorer and recycle bin.

I only leave shortcuts of the programs that I most frequently use. I do not want too many icons on my desktop because my wallpaper would not be appreciated much. And besides, having too many desktop icons and startup programs would only slow down your computer's start-up and shutdown times.
