When I select a discussion for the response, that means I rated it positive!

That's the way I am working here in mylot.
When I like to write a response to a discussion means I have appreciated the subject and hence one can be sure about the positive rating being marked by me as soon as the page is displayed.
I even would say that I never let the discussion go without being marhed as positive before I even start writing on to it.
How about you?
Do you let the discussion go without rating it?
Do you think rating is not your business and say who cares?
I think that will be an injustice to the user who awaits!
Wishing you all a happy and enjoyable moments in the mylot all the time.

When I decide to reply I rate the discussion.
When I get a response I like or feel is valid even if it disagrees with my own opinion I tend to rate it positively too and reply.
Sometimes I have nothing left to say so will rate the persons last comment but not reply.
I rarely negatively rate a reply unless it is abusive.
I try my best to be honest and helpful or at least to give support to my friends when they need it even if I cannot help with the problems...
The main problem is when people negatively rate if you do not agree with them, lol.
What we have to remember is that we are here to have fun, discuss things that interest us, get and give help and advice and make friends. I have fun here most of the time and I hope you do too!

I rate almost every discussion I visit. be it in my line of thought or way off base to me. I have issued a couple negs but they were well deserved. Some topics I just avoid totally not even reading them. Thats how I am about the response. I feel the rating system could use some tweaking from MyLot with members input but.....
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!
