Do you like to plan your life, or keep things open?

I used to plan things but they'd always go wrong, so I've stopped making plans on things as I think I get more disappointed when things do not work out after I've planned in advance then when I do not plan them and they do not work. What about you? Have you planned your entire life up to your death, just a few things, or nothing at all?

We have to plan our lives to a certain extent. But I never plan way down the line. I do set some goals for the future, though. Because I teach, tutour at home and help my husband with his pub, I have to plan my day, or even a few days, in advance. However, in the (little) free time I have I like to be spontaneous.

I plan my life not to the extent that it was impossible to achieve.
I set a 5 year plan and then if it is over tries to recheck what are the things that hinders it to achieve my plan and then try to work it out and plan for another 5 years.
For now I can say some of my plans are working properly but we are human and some of our plans are failure but we should not end with that we should try to evaluate what's best thing to do to make the plan productive.

Hi...PT, I do like to plan my life especially that I have two little girls to think of too. But my plans never went beyond the time that I will die. I actually gave up planning things a few years back. Because just like you, there's always something that will go wrong. But as a mother now, I am better able to supervise my plans accordingly. Of course, there will be some problems along the way, but maturity and past experiences help me to plan things better. All the best. :)
