Which of the two is better, Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away?

OOH, tough one. I have seen both and love both. I think I like Howl's Moving Castle better but not by much. Spirited Away is really awesome though. Oh, I cannot really decide. I have both on DVD and I cannot watch one without watching the other. Ok...if I must choose I will pick Howl's Moving Castle. :)

I definitely like this the best among the Miyazawa films because it has an ending! Most of his movies have an open ending that leaves you wanting for more and wondering what would happen to the characters after the movie. At least this movie has closure. XD

I definitely like Howl the best. One of the reasons is that I didn't like the ending of SA at all, while I loved Howl's ending. But I liked the story better, and I even think the animation was a little prettier too.

Most people feel that Spirited Away is the better film. It got a lot more attention from the critics and people seemed to like the story more. However, I like a good romance myself, so I would have to say that while I own them both, I've watched Howl's a few times more. Also, there are times when I feel like Spirited Away drags a little bit. However, you are right about both films being so great. It really is har to chose one.
