what if theres no PS in this letter??what will u do and how would u feel??

dear mom, it is with great regret and sorrow that im telling you that eloped with my new boyfriend. i found real passion and he is so nice, with all his piercings and tattoos and his big motorcycle. but it's not only that, i'm pregnant and my new boyfriend said that we will be very happy in his trailer in the woods. He wants to have more children with me and that's one of my dreams. I've learned that marijuana doestn't not hurt anyone, in the meantime mom, we'll pray for the the science to find AIDS cure, for my new boyfriend to get better, he deserves it!...don't worry mom, im already 15 years old now and i can take care of my self now! someday i'll visit you for you to know your grand children....your daughter, jenny.....(PS. mom, its not true..im just in our neighbor's house.i just wanted to show you that there are worst things in life than the school's report card thats in my desk's drawer...ilove you!)

LOL...that's a nice one! I'm sure though how would I react if I'd get this from my daughter (in the future)...yeah, it's easy for me to say now that I'd accept it as that's the only way I can do since my daughter had already flown off with his new boyfriend, but I guess it would feel a little different if this is gonna happen in reality...am sure I gotta let out some tears... :P
but if my mom's gonna receive this letter from me? am sure she'd freak out and cry her heart out as she doesn't want me to end up with a lifetime partner as described in this letter... :P

What would I do if there is no PS?
I'd still LOL. If the child is 15 I've known her a long time and would know that she is not about to run off with a fellow such as she described. Also, consider that this letter was written to cover for a bad report card. Teenagers who would behave such as described in the letter do not care what their parents think of their report cards and would not write such a letter.
So, I guess I would feel amused at the letter and what I would do is write her a letter telling her I loved her and wishing her Good luck in her new life.
With such a letter I affirm my feelings for her, tell her she is free to live her own life as she sees fit, and send a message not to jerk my chain, I jerk back.

yeah you're right! writing her back and telling her that u love her..etc. thats so touching for a mom or a dad to do that for their daughter. thats wonderful

This is so funny :-)
BUT if there was no PS I would have to accept the fact that my child had made her own choices, her own decisions and gone her own way. Not rally much else you can do really, but accept it and just be there when it all goes horribly wrong

well, i will do the same thing also. it's funny and its kinda disturbing for a mom who will find and see a letter like that from a 15y/o daughter isn't it? that would be more than the nightmare on elm street!hehehehe
