City of Gods (Cedade De Deus), a great movie about "favella"s

This is really a great movie about brazilian favellas (ghettos) , where powerty is all around. It shows a heavy life there, drug dealers, drug users, murderers, bands, etc.
It's a long movie (not a standart 1,5 hour) , but it's absolutly not boring. Everything happens so fast there, no time for long-time scenes.
If you didn't see it , it's a MUST for people, who doesn't look just "hollywood big production" "expensive movies without soul) movies!

Yes, I have seen this movie and will add my endorsement to yours in recommending people see it.
It is a study in poverty, helplessness, and hope at the same time. All this while at the same time being very entertaining.
What more could you want from a movie? See it, soon.
