I don't think I have ever known a dog that doesn't burp .. it's as natural to a cat or dog as to us .. it's just wind in the tummy after all .. a better a good burp than a loud and nasty fart heheh !!
One thing I did do for a dog I had that burped almost continually was to raise his feed bowl up off the floor .. it helped him to eat his food without swallowing so much air .. I set it at roughly mid chest height and his was 80% better after I did that ..
It's also very helpful to older animals that may have blood presure problems ..

our dogs belch all the time right after eating. I think it is just because they eat too fast and take in too much air.

I've heard that a couple of times from my dog, but not as often as the other end. Be grateful! ;) Maybe he's eating something that doesn't agree with him?

Yes, I have a boxer and he will belch. If he is not belching he will come up to your face and sneeze. He slobbers and poots also. He reminds me of my hubby. LOL

I had one dog that when she would poot, it would scare her and she would look for it.

LOL, we've had dogs and cats to belch. It's sort of funny when they do it. But if your dog is doing this a lot, it doesn't sound like normal belching. It could be a problem, you may want to call your vet and ask about this.

Our late Boxer, use to belche something terrible! I was suggested to change his food. I did and never had a problem with it again. Dogs shouldn't eat our scrap foods and watch for food with lots of filler. I use to give him something like Purina Dog chow and anything like this type of food you find in the Grocery stores and it wasn't doing him any good. After I changed for a lamb and rice type from the Pet Store (not IAMS, although it's better then most pet chows), he stopped belching and his stools became as small as my cats. The new food I was giving him had no filler, just pure balanced nutrition and this fixed up the problem within a week.
Hope this helps.

We used to have a beagle dog that belched all the time.It was so funny! I thought I was hearing things the first time we did as we never had a pet that had done that before.Unfortunately ,our dog passed gas at both end and let me tell, they were pleasant experiences ,etc

One dog does. Blue the Blind, my little Australian Cattle Dog does. She is funny when she does cause you kinda hear it coming up, but then it's almost lady like and quiet when she actually does.
But both dogs fart. And man, do they stink!
