I bet Walt Disney would want to have a very good and harmonious life for everyone, regardless of race, age, culture and what have you. That is why, Walt Disney will be releasing its ground breaking new fairytale, The Frog Princess. What is so special about this is that the lead role would be african-american. Though she will not be the first non-white princess to be showcased in Walt Disney fairytales, the first one is Jasmine, it still says something about the new world.
I take this move as an answer to the discrimination problems around the globe. Though this is just a small thing to do and this will not bring a revolution. Atleast in a white dominated world of fairytales, equality is starting to flourish.
If only we can live in a world where everything is equal and everyone is happy, the we can live happily ever after.

I think it's great that Disney is doing this. It's about time they really got into showing different ethnic and racial people. Yes they did start with Jasmine and then of course Mulan but they can do more then just white characters. I think this is a step in the right direction for them.
