My Mother used to have wind chimes all over the place when I was growing up. She loved to hear the tinkling of the metal or wood everytime the wind blew.
I myself am not that huge of a fan. I do have one huge chime on my front porch, but it is a tuned one and it is beautiful sounding. I also have to have it displayed because my younger sister gave it to me as a Christmas gift.

Weird tags on this one! (cash money, etc.) Anyway, I like only really good quality chimes. There are some cheapos out there that are really tinny and annoying. Well-tuned chimes in the right spot are nice.

Yes, I do! I have 2 at home so far and plan to get more when I have a garden. Currently, I stay in an apartment. I have one that is made of bamboo and the other one is made of clay. The bamboo one was bought in Bali and the clay one was bought in Thailand. very different sound!
