Uhm. If you never entered the lottery, then it is probably a scam. You should watch out for stuff like this. You can't win a lottery you never entered. If you did enter however, they should tell you how to claim your prize. Remember NEVER send out any money to them for ANY reason-- they should be paying YOU if you won the lottery!

It sounds like a SCAM.
It is definitely not the sort of thing you want to be dealing with.
They ask for you to pay a small fee to help to transfer the money into your account, or to change it from African, to your currency.
When you pay that amount, they do not give you any further money to replace it with.

All are part of the Nigerian scam.If you have not entered or purchased a lotto ticket they obtained your name by Internet phishing.Wouldn't you be just as suspicious if a stranger knocked on your door and told you that you have won money? Be very careful and check out all offers on the Internet.

I HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF MESSAGES LIKE THAT TOO. BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS SERIOUS. SO DON'T THINK THAT YOU WON IN REALITY. THEY JUST WANT TO GET SOME MONEY - I DON'T KNOW HOW, BUT FOR SURE YOU WILL NOT SEE ANY MONEY FROM THEM!
