Apple Carrot Raisin Salad

1 bag (10 oz.) shredded carrots 1/2 cup raisins, I like the Golden ones for this recipe 1/2 cup chopped apples, any type 1 cup vanilla low fat yogurt Mix all ingredients, and cover. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

Oh Yummy. I have a question though. The recipe says shredded carrots. I dont have a problem shredding them but it almost sounds like you can purchase them shredded. Can you purchase them already shredded? I have never heard of them shredded when purchased. I love this kind of salad. It would be so healthy. I love fruit and veggies and yoguart. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe

yes you can buy them already shredded, they are kept in the produce aisle. Usually by the tofu and organic cold produce.
