Why doesn't my posting count go up?

I've been posting my brains out this morning and my number hasn't gone up. How does that work?

Hmm.. that's odd, never happened with me though.. i guess you should wait for a day b4 contacting mylot for this situation!

OK, I found out that replies to responses to discussions are not counted. Did you follow that? The only thing that counts for the number in the parentheses is your first posts to discussions, not replies to people who have posted to your discussions. Hope that makes sense to you.
