Yes, i have been writing since age eleven.
I write poems, stories and a song or two too.
I love rhyming. I try to teach my children, and my 6 yearold is picking it up. he has been making some songs and rhymes.
I havent been published yet. I do not think that high of myself, that i deserve to be. But maybe one day?
I would love to write a book. One others would read. I still have a childs imagination i think.

I think that writers are far too critical of their own work. You should try sending some things to a publisher, and see if you get any feedback. Good luck if you decide to try! Thank you for your response :)

I write short stories all the time in the hope they will spark off big stories and in most cases they do and I am still writing to this day on many different projects, I'm nearing the end of my journey were I may be getting somewhere with my efforts, who knows?!

I write poems just for fun. I haven't posted any on mylot yet but I intend to. Most of my writing is popular science writing.

I've written several poems (btw they don't have to rhyme) and a few songs, and been published in a couple of "chat books" (small books of poetry). I've also participated in a few readings and festivals. Great fun!
Would love to share them with you or others who might be interested.

I have written a couple of non-rhyming poems (my friend called them 'ploems'). I'd be interested to read your work, why don't you start a discussion around it? Thank you for your response :)

I like writing stories, but now most of my work is limited to fan fiction, which I don't mind at all since it helps me develop my skills as a writer. None of my written works has been published yet but I don't mind since I write more for personal enjoyment and satisfaction and there's always the internet where I can post my stories in blogs and forums.

I used to do that too!!! and at some point I even dreamed of writing a novel but now that I know better I write more for my own pleasure more than anything else. I write fanfiction and once in a while originals too.
