If you have an imagination, books are more vivid than film. But if you don't have an imagination, you can find bookks a little boring.I enjoy both. If the book is written well, it's as if you are seeing a film when you read it.

Definitely the book is better because you have access to the characters' feelings and intimate thoughts in one situation or another, which are very hard to express in a movie. What I like most about books is the fact that you can go at your own pace, I mean if you're really curious what happens next you can read faster, unless the movies who go at the pace their director wanted them to.

Not to mention the fact that in a book you can imagine the characters any way you see fit. In the movies you have to settle with the casting they chose which might or might not agree with your image of that character.

I guess, Film is more captivant, and is very more entertaining, not like reading, also it is also entertaining but, you will be stressed because you are making an image in your mind while you are reading, unlike film, its there already.

I think a movie. When I watched a movie I really shut out the outside world. If i read a book it really has to be great to really catch my interest in the same way.

A good book is infinitely better than a bad movie.

in our times, reading a book is very old fashioned ocupation for most people, the reason is that there is too much information:the tv, the computer the internet , these modern machines take our time and reading is beginning to be left over, we have less time for that.but my personal opinion is that reading a book is more educative then the other types of information, it makes your vocabulary get richer and stimulates your imagination.the movie gives you all images and you don't have to imagine anything

Both, in books its about the writer's text and your imagination. In movies, the time span is short so this might make you interested in it. Direction and the way of story telling matters the most.

I believe a book is more captivating than a film.A book is a good stimulant to the imagination, it gives you room to exercise your thought process. Hope you noticed that movies adapted from books then to beless interesting than the book.
