Imagine if you are being held captive with several other people and the people holding you tell you that you have to choose somebody to be killed in oreder to save you life and that of the rest of the group. What would you do, would you choose a person, choose yourself or sacrifice the group by not choosing?

If it was an imaginary situation like a movie role, then i would play the role of a tragic hero, and sacrifice my life and thus win the admiration of the audience. However, if it was a real life scenario, i would immediately point my finger towards someone else and save my skin. Yes, thats what the other people also will do if they where in my place.

Also, i would randomly decide who will die, i will certainly not make a young kid a sacrificial goat. If there is someone
whom i do not like that guy gets to walk the plank....lol. After that i would consider an old adult males, young males,
old women and young women. ( I think it has to be age wise with a preference given to men over women).

In order to save my own life? Then I would just point to someone else in the group, I could do that in order to save myself and the rest of the people.

Would you just point randomly or go for the oldest or one who didn't look well?

I like to think I would do that but I'm sure my survival instinct would kick in.
