Get it on some meds, take it to the vet or just slap it when its licking itself, it will eventually learn that it is not the right thing to do.

Definitely take a trip to the vet. It could be something as simple as an allergy to food that he's eating, to anxiety, to other medical conditions that could be more serious.

Is the fur just falling out or is your cat licking the spots. If the cats is licking you will have to take him to the vets. When they start licking and leaving bald spots, they have a real problem and need to be on medication.

If I were you,I'd take your kitty to the vet.The fact that he/she had three bald spots is not good at all.

The last time I changed my hairstyle was about 2 years ago. My hair was about where it is now, to the middle of my back. I did not want to cut it, but my youngest son would pull on it every so often and I would complain about it to my husband, so, one day he got out the scissors and cut it a bit shorter than shoulder length! I already had a haircut last month.

Time to echo everyone else...take your baby to the vet.
I just read an article about how some cats get neurtoic and lick themselves bald and how all kinds of really bad kitty diseases involve hair loss. Better to have the vet check and say it's nothing than to lose her.

First, I'd recommend looking for fleas or ticks. If that's not what it is, then kitty needs a trip to the vet.

First how old is your cat? Second if less than 1 year of age you should call a vet and get it checks there can be many things wrong.some cats lose hair due to diet some can have a serious condition called mange and if not treated your cat can become very ill.some types of mange can spread to human's. most times mange shows up in the first 6 months or so around the eyes and offen on the leg area .some cats can also get dermatitis(dry skin)and some shampoos can help.Good luck with your feline friend.
