who's a better boss - man or woman?

i've been working with a man boss before. his approach to work is 'no matter how you do it, get it done'. yes he made some bold and dare decision but whenever a problem arises, his method is - 'let me handle this'. now i'm working under a woman boss. her approach to work is 'do it the way i want you to do it'. she'll personally check everything and to some extend, want to be involved in everything. i'm not proposing gender-bias nor to assume every boss is the same everywhere but i'm answering this based on my experience, and i'd say it is man. who do you think is a better boss?
