Time For Heroes is a great song - I'm just listened to it again on your profile. Probably the recent only song to get semi mainstream airplay to mention a radical protest group.
One of The Libertines best, along with the one with the line "if you lose your faith in love and music the will be near" forget the title but it also has a line about daisychains - this was one of the songs that helped keep me alive in '03.
Don't think I can choose just one song for the best one ever made.
Babyshambles - Albion would probably be near the top of my list, along with The Beatles - Strawberry Fields &/or A Day In The Life, John Lennon - to many to chose from but probably Imagine/Instant Karma, several Clash songs esp. White Man In Hammersmith Palais, Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros - can't choose + his solo version of Pouring Rain, Radiohead - again too many to choose from but definitly Fake Plastic Trees.
Favourite song right now: - David Lyons - You Arm Dealers

Where are the Babyshambles & Libertines songs I Wish & Hooray for the 21st century on your profile from? They're good.
