The statistics shows that once called descendent of Sachin Tendulkar has been out of form frm 2006 saeson onwards...so do you think india should still go on giving him chances...why is Dravid backing up this guy so much??

sehwag has to go out unless he played an important role in world cup.... he may be in the team not to lose mental strength of team..but he will not srvive unless he workhard

i think that he shouldn't be in the team..despite his poor performance he is still put in the team.. and the result is always the same...he never scores more than 40...and many times he goes out for below 20 and in the same passion...he should be removed from the indian cricket team if they want to win this world cup...

I agree that shewag is given the most number of chances to regain his form. But Shewag is a kind of player who can change the game in a short time. That may be the reason why dravid insist on his inclusion.

No. Not at all.He has been given enogh chances to show his caliber. But he has been always failed since last one year.Dravid should not give backing to Sehwag. Its high time.We have to replace someone.Keep him out of the team until he proves himself in domestic cricket.

Well frankly Sehwag shouldn't have been selected for the Inidan team in the world cup as He has failed for more than two seasons consistently and didn't deserve to be in the team. I feel Dravid has made a grave mistake by backing him on past record. That he will one days deliver big, till that time he hopes other players will dutifully carry the extra burden. I would say if sehwag performed well in the past he was suitably rewarded then. Do we get paid this year for what we did ten years ago, when we ahve paid for it then. The fact is Indian team management needs to show some common sense and guts to drop Sehwag who is truly out of form, it's not just the scores, the way Sehwag is batting shows he is clearly struggling not b'coz of technique but bad temperament due to loss of form.
