We did a bit of research into Sanskrit names before naming our kid as Arya. Arya is a Sanskrit word meaning “Respectable”,“Honorable” or “Noble”.
Also the name is slightly different from the common names that are given in India, so we went for this.
Cheers!

We picked my daughters name out of a book. Her middle name is after my husband's aunt and sister. Nothing fancy. If we have a boy he will be named after my husband. His name is Joe and so is his father and his grandfather. They all have different middle names so none of them are junior.

My children were all named after family. My oldest carries my mother's and my ex mother in law's name, My middle is named after one of my uncles and my ex father in law But we chose to use Terra instead of Terry, and my youngest first name is a combination of mine and her fathers names and her middle name is after my sister.

My daughter, Andrea's name was originally planned Beatrix Isabella. Two days before my due date, a kitten wandered into the house and my sister had it named Beatrix so I chnaged the name to Felaine Andrea... Felaine is a combination of her grandmothers' names, Felicidad and Elaine
