Do you always rate the responses other mylot users posted to the discussions you started?
I'm a newbie, and I posted a question on how to get a mylot reputation (the star with a number, appearing beside the username).
I'm a bit concerned whether or not mylot users actually provide ratings for the responses they receive. In my understanding, the quality of the responses can affect your earnings.
So if your responses are not rated, does it also mean that you earn less???

thanks for your response.
i know "+ rating" will boost your mylot reputation. now i'm wondering if "no rating" is better than "- rating"... and how does it possibly affect the earnings...
it's good to know that fellow users seek relevance also to the discussion. :)

Well not everytime..
I usually rate someone if they give me information as I need. For anybody who just stopping by and answer short uninformational answer i don't rate them.
And I also rate people down if they annoying.
And ofcourse I have report some of very bad people too.

thanks for the honesty. i appreciate the response.
when i joined mylot a few days ago, the key word was "quality"... providing quality responses.
it's good to know how mylot users rate other users in the discussions. :)

I rate most of the responses i get..The size of the response is not a factor that i consider while rating a response or a discusion. If i like the response or if it helps in solving my problem, then i would surely rate +. Infact i had started a similar discussion when i was a newbie here...I dont really know if the rating has anything to do with how much u earn.

i guess most newbies ask almost the same questions, have almost the same concerns when they are just starting out at mylot.
thanks for sharing how you rate the responses you get. :)

thanks for responding.
sometimes i would browse for discussions that interest me. i've seen responses from mylot users that are quite good but the one who posted the discussion doesn't even rate one of them.
