We haven't gone yet, but we will buy 2 container of silk soy milk, baby carrots, mixed vegetables, Home Pride Bread and a couple of loaves of other whole wheat type bread, a few containers of frozen juice..real juice. We are planning on 12 meals so ground turkey, salisbury steak, hot dogs, ham, keilbasa, so that means succotash, salad mix, french fries, cereal, 4 big bags of pretzels or tortilla chips as treats, bacon, potatoes, 4 2 liters of pop because we each get one and when it is gone and done within a few days there is not more until the next shopping trip. We have cat food and bunny food to buy this trip too. Along with some dog treats. We will see what else is on sale and build a couple of meals around that. Barring a sale I still have a turkey in the freezer and I could thaw and cook that later in the week and that would last for a few meals. We just bought milk and cheese yesterday so that would not be on this trip but for these 2 weeks. We are paid every two weeks so we do the big shopping trip after payday. We are four, 2 adults and 2 kids. 3 dogs, 5 cats and a bunny

I didn't have a very long list this time as I had been shopping just the previous week. So this time it was only veggies, ilk, buttermilk, yoghurt, cereal, kitchen towels, chips, fruits hmm... that's it

Everything but pop. I have spent so much on pop lately, that I am trying to spend budget on juices and other beverages, rather than soda.

There are always the basics to get because they are the ones that are used up first. As to the other weekly one like sauces and salt and similar items that last for more than a week can be bought les often.

I shop about once a week. We buy water and pop each week. I shop for 5/6 people, depending if it's a weekend that my daughter visits. I buy a lot of varieties of meat and cheese. We keep our sugar intake low, though this week I did buy some easter candy, and stuff to make a couple of pudding pies and a cheesecake. I also bought some italian bread, as I wanted something a little different to serve with dinner. Our grocery list changes week to week depending on what it is that we use, and what we want to eat. I don't plan meals out in advance, I just buy the meats that look good, and then freeze a large quantity of them. Every day, I'll take a package of meat from the freezer and thaw it out and decide what I'm going to do with it (usually marinade of some kind and broil) and what I'm going to serve with it. We buy bread every week as well as my husband and my children eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches.

I haven't done much shopping this week as there was just hubby and myself here. There was plenty of food in the fridge and freezer so I just bought basics like bread and milk. Next week, I will have a lot of visitors as it St Patrick's Day so I will need to stock up on food during the week. I will buy roast beef and vegetables for Saturday and make a nice desert to go with it and on Sunday we will go out for a meal. It would kill me to have to cook for a big crowd two days in a row as well as cooking breakfasts.

I don't usually do the buying in our house but this week I was forced to buy shampoo in the near grocery store. I am about to take a bath after shaving my mustache and goatie when I realized that my shampoo sachet was already empty. I was forced to walk outside our house even if I have not yet take a bath. I just hate it when it happens. Now, I just purchased a pack shampoo good for a week. I just want to make sure it won't happen again.

I shop for 3 adults, 1 baby and a dog. I do grocery shopping once a week, and once a month we go to a shop a bit further away with a discount store (for things like toilet paper, washing detergent), which also has a cheap butcher and chick place. This week was quite a small shopping trip, no formula or nappies (I buy them every fortnight to alternate with mortage repayments). I bought mince lasagne noodles salad mix cooked chicken cereal, 2 boxes museli bar, rice cereal for bubs, tin of tuna, tin of canned soup, a few cans of baked beans and tinned spaghetti stuff for making burritos I think thats all. It was a small shopping this week.
