Should girls be left at home to houeshold chores while the boy goes to school?

In many parts of the world today, especially in Africa and some parts of Asia, The girl child has little or no education as they are believed to be of help to their household. They are left in the house to do the house work while the boy child is allowed the priviledges to study. The girl child is thought needlework, cookery and general housecare. Is this Practice good at all to the welfare of the girl child? No. In my opinion, i think this is discrimination that has negative consequences on the community. As for u, what do u think, and how can this barberic attitude be stopped? There are million of girls out there who want you to talk out so that they can be given the right to study. Speak out for them.
