Why are girls like that?

You bet! that's right because when my husband told me something sweet or nice I tease him back and told him "binobola mo ko eh!" but deep inside me it made me tickle and feel very special as for me no matter how true that was or a mere joke I take it as a compliment but I never showed the real excitement that I felt. I think girls have different view on how they accept the compliment and it will be depend entirely on how you said it, so better look straight to her eyes hold her hands and say something that you really seen to her and I think girls will feel the sincereness of what you are saying. I think it depends on how the compliment is given. Often girls have been through a lot with guys who have mistreated them in the past. It's easy to become mistrustful of guys because of past errors. I try to see each new person I meet for the individual that s/he is, not by mistakes that I've made in my past. Same with my Sweetheart and his ex-wife. We are all individuals. We trust eachother, but not everyone can develop that kind of trust, not even with one person. Often it's insecurity too. A lot of girls don't understand why a guy would honestly want to comment them.
