I was the one accompanying my mom to the doctor and showed the result of an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)of mom's upper and lower abdomen. The doctor, after talking to my mom how she is and what she feels, asked her to wait outside the clinic for me. The doctor told me that the result of the MRI indicates that mom's condition is not good...and said that based on his experience... the patient (my mom) has only 6 months to live! I felt as if crushed ice was poured over me and feels there's a lump in my throat. I couldnt cry, else my mom would notice. I didnt tell my mom about it. I communicated with other family members who live in other country about what the doctor said and we agreed not to tell mom.
If you were in a similar situation, what will u feel, how would you handle it? What will you do? Will you tell your love one that he/she's dying?

I would feel the same way as you feel. It is hard to tell someone, what more a family member or love one, about the worsening health condition and much more that he/she has only few days to live.
I would just keep it a secret as long as I could but I would tell my other family members about it and hear / see what they want to do.
