Could you beat your 18 month old baby to death and hide the body?

Well, that's what a 19 year old mother did in San Antonio, Texas. She beat the infant to death and then hid the body beneath the house. But that isn't all -- she then killed her he 5 month old son and burried him beside his sisterbeneath the house! She was arrested and charged with capitol murder and apparently confessed to both deaths. Her boyfriend faces a charge of injury to a child by omission. The police believe that he knew she was abusing the children. Here's the link to the full story:

Oh wow! That is so horrifyingly disturbing. How could someone take the life of their child? I can't even begin to imagine how someone could get to that point. Plus show no emotion what so ever, that's just sick. I really think that this girl is mentally ill and disturbed. I am a mother of a beautiful 9 month old girl and I would NEVER harm her. When she gets a little older I'm sure their will be times when I might want to, but I know I never would. I love her way too much, and I couldn't imagine my life without her in it!

That's just disgusting. I don't know how any mother could do that to their own children..or any children. She must have serious mental health issues for sure. How could someone do that if they didn't??? I can understand when someone just snaps and lashes out and hurts a child..not that it's right. But I can understand how it happens. But I cannot for the life of me understand how people can do things like this. Very sad.
