I am wondering this about flu shots. I know that they were made availiable back in october and november but, I would like to know how many had taken their kids to get them? We all get them in my household. My third daughter has Cystic Fibrosis disease and it benefits here not only thru the flu season but in the spring as well. It seems as if the spring time is the worst in some cases for upper respirtory viruses. Since flu shots are created not only for the flu but they have killed viruses in them for upper respitory as well. I guess flu shots are a great invention from medicine today. Does your kids get them?

I always get them for my boys, both have asthma triggered only when they are ill. They are fine the rest of the year. They used to get sick all the time when they first started school (they had never been around any viruses before) but now they never miss a day. I believe the Flu shot is a wonderful advance in medical advancement.

We get our flu shots as soon as they come out in the year. I will call the clinic mid-October to find out when they are scheduled to come in. I then call back on that day and schedule the appointment for all of us (husband, 2 kids, and myself) to get the shot.

I have three kids and they all get a flu shot every year. Where I live we had a lot of kids out of school for about two weeks with the flu. Mine didn't miss a day. I wondered how many of those parents went and got thier kids the shot.
